James Newman

James Newman lives in Hendersonville, NC with his wife and their five-year-old son.  His first mass-market novel, MIDNIGHT RAIN -- a coming-of-age thriller set in the Tarheel State -- was published this past August by Leisure Books (www.dorchesterpub.com). 

Also currently available is the audiobook version of his popular small-press novella HOLY ROLLERS (http://www.dm.net/~bahwolf/lwp/lwa-newman.htm), a CD featuring original music and sound-effects the author composed/mixed himself.  This Halloween will see the release of Newman's "splatstick B-movie" novella NIGHT OF THE LOVING DEAD (http://www.khpindustries.com/nightofthelovingdead.html), a collaboration with fellow horror writer James Futch. 

Newman is currently writing a short novel titled AMERICAN HORROR STORY, after which he plans to pen a follow-up to MIDNIGHT RAIN.  He can be found online at www.james-newman.com.
