Dina Sieroslawski Dina was born, raised and still resides in North Carolina where she lives with her husband. A graduate of Peace College, Dina continued her education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she received a BA in Child and Family Development. After graduation, Dina began a teaching career. Many years later she transitioned into Hotel Sales. She currently manages her own home-based business as a Creative Memories Consultant. Also, she volunteers her times as a facilitator of a local OCD self-help support group. Stop This Hurricane in My Brain is a book about survival for people who suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This book demonstrates that there is life with OCD and it is possible to live happy and productive lives. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a heart wrenching disorder. For those who suffer from it there is nothing worse that could happen to them in their life. For the people who love them, OCD can be very frustrating as it is very difficult to understand. For both there is help. This book showcases numerous personal OCD journeys of both suffering and survival in addition to several stories from loved ones of OCD sufferers. For the OCD sufferer Dina explains the exact steps she took on her journey of recovery. At her worst, OCD consumed about 10 waking hours of everyday and now it only occupies about 15 minutes of her day. She also discusses various treatment options. For the loved ones of OCD sufferers, Dina provides a better understanding of this disorder. She also discusses the importance of support for the OCD sufferer as well as the ones who love them.
